The Rodeo by the Sea - Streaky Bay is on the far West Coast of the Eyre Peninsula, South Australia.

The Rodeo will be held on Saturday 17th October 2026 at the Streaky Bay Racecourse.

Camping is available for Rodeo ticket holders on the Friday and Saturday night only. Tents, swags and camper trailers in Zone 1. Ten caravan will be permitted this year in Zone 2. Conditions apply. Competitors have their own Zone and may camp with their vehicles and horses. Refer to the Venue Map 2026 for more details or refer to the Tent Village to book a bit of luxury.

Rodeo by the Sea is a family event with full bar and catering facilities, amusements and retail vendor stalls. Sales via EFTPOS transactions however cash is appreciated. No BYO. No dogs. No photographers or videographers.

Shuttle bus to-and-from the caravan parks and hotel commencing at 1.30pm on a continuous loop.  No bus between 5-6pm (drivers break). Last bus 10pm.

Gates open 2pm.

Best Dressed Cowboy/girl competition 3.30pm

The Main event 4pm.

Live music from 9pm

Tickets will be available at the gate, however take advantage of the Early Bird Ticket prices by buying online.
